We are seeking experienced Auto Electrician looking for a permanent opportunity to join our dynamic maintenance team in Collinsville.

Our teams deliver mining excellence, with uncompromising safety and environmental standards and we’re looking forward to continuing our long-term relationships across our mine sites.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• Candidates must hold a relevant trade certificate
• Post-trade experience working in the mining and heavy earth moving industry, or hydraulic excavator industry essential.
• Alignment to our principles: Integrity, Accountability, Innovation & Deliver
• Current Standard 11, a current open drivers’ licence and relevant coal mining certifications
• Work safely and comply with the Site Safety Health and Management System

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Auto Electrician -

• Perform the servicing, repair and maintenance of mobile mining equipment in accordance with Thiess servicing and maintenance procedures
• Complete general maintenance, breakdowns, services, and component change outs to a high regard
• Conduct required inspections to maximise equipment utilisation
• Provide high-quality installations including mountings, wiring and testing of equipment

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent
• Refrigerated handling license advantageous
• Post-trade experience working in the mining and heavy earth moving industry, or hydraulic excavator industry.
• Experience in general service, maintenance, breakdowns, component change outs and proper diagnostics, Computer system JDE, OEM computer-based systems, Cat, Cummins, Hitachi and Liebherr.
