The Opportunity
Are you an experienced Haul Truck Operator with a strong commitment to safety and a passion for mining? Thiess is seeking experienced and motivated Truck Operators to join our high-performing team at Curragh North.
As a key member of the Curragh North team, you'll play an important role in supporting safe, efficient mining operations by operating haul trucks and contributing to a productive, safety-focused team environment.
Roster: 7:7 DN | Location: Curragh North, QLD | Employment Type: Full-Time
As the Truck Operator, you will:
- Operate haul trucks safely and efficiently to support production targets.
- Maintain a strong commitment to Thiess' safety culture, procedures, and operational standards.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to deliver safe, reliable, and productive mining operations.
About you
- Minimum 12 months' experience operating haul trucks in an open cut coal mining environment.
- Verified machinery skills list (training transcripts/LMS documents) signed by an SSE or delegate.
- Current Standard 11.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- A proactive attitude with the desire to work reliably as part of a team.
