About the Scholarship

At Thiess, we're committed to developing the next generation of industry professionals and creating opportunities for talented students to thrive.

We are inviting Expressions of Interest from undergraduate students who are interested in future scholarship opportunities with Thiess while completing their studies in Australia.

Our Scholarship Program is designed to support students financially while providing valuable industry exposure, professional development and pathways into future employment opportunities within Thiess and the broader CIMIC Group.

Successful scholarship recipients may receive:

• Financial support throughout their studies

• Exposure to a range of mining projects and operational environments

About you

We're interested in hearing from students who:

• Are currently studying an undergraduate degree (full-time or part-time)
• Are entering their second year, currently in their second year, or currently in their third year of study
• Have a genuine interest in pursuing a career with Thiess or within the CIMIC Group
• Are willing to participate in vacation work opportunities where applicable
• Demonstrate alignment with Thiess' values of Accountability, Respect, Empowerment and Curiosity
• Are committed to their professional and personal development
• Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander for the Indigenous Scholarship
